Matt got a good two hours in with Sunny this afternoon. He really enjoys riding him bareback and does very well at it.
From the moment he gets there, he takes full control over getting Sunny dressed and ready to ride. That could be why he prefers bareback...a lot less to do. Today he had to go catch him in the field. When we arrived, Sunny was hanging out with his friend, Pumpkin. It took about 20 minutes to wrangle him and bring him up to the barn, but in the cold it felt like forever.
Matt was given a new idea. I could see the wheels turning.
They even sang some Christmas songs.
