The kids did a scavenger hunt around the room to see the different stations. This is where he was supposed to find the teacher and introduce himself. She's a little in awe that he was reading the whole thing on his own. Her face was priceless. He is an excellent reader, and pretty much self-taught.
After the hunt, she took the kids up front for their circle time and introductions. She asked for a volunteer to read and of course Jake's hand went up like a shot. He has no problem being the leader.
Jake loves story time. He just loves school in general.
