Another Saturday without anything on the calendar! We decided to go to the Sewickley Harvest Festival.

Matt is like me, not a fan of clowns, but this lady won him over because she made him a special "magic wishes" sword and a belt.

She told him that for the rest of the day, whoever he touched with the sword would get to make a wish. After that, he went up to several people and and said, "Hey! Do you want to make a wish?"

Face painting. Matt chose a football helmet (????) and a #5 (because he's 5), and Jake chose a bowling ball.

Dad got a mouthful of soap.

Jake's bowling ball (that kinda looks like the earth).

A bagel break in Bruegger's.

There was a tent selling these painted bowling pins. Jake thought they were awesome.

Matt was really excited to get some cotton candy, although he didn't eat it.

He ended up throwing this chunk away. For him, the idea of the cotton candy was better than the taste.

The biggest hit of the day: Swords for $1.

Not The Beach Boys.

Jake had fun making a pumpkin.

Matt and his loot.

And we stopped at the playground on the way home.
